London Courtyard
A small courtyard with grand ambitions. The main focus of this space is a six metre high feature wall made from tessellating slate panels. Each panel is bordered with subtle LED lighting, creating an ambient glow in the evening.
Viewed from every room in the house, the design was about how the courtyard could enhance the experience of the interior living space. A single multi stem Amelanchier tree, pictured here in full blossom, is planted in a hand made pot. Treated almost like a piece of sculpture, it provides a softening, natural element to the space.
